Wes Franks – PT, MS, OCS, MTC
Wes Franks graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in biology and an M.S. in biomechanics and sports medicine. He developed a particular passion for studying human movement, culminating in a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. While in St. Augustine, Wes studied under Stanley Paris and became certified in manual physical therapy in 2000. His special interests include sports biomechanics, arthritis, general orthopaedics and upper extremity neurovascular disorders.

Dean Douglass – DPT, BSc Hons
Dean Douglass attended Samford University, where he received a B.S. in exercise science. He continued his education in Northern Ireland, where he received a BSc with honours in physiotherapy from the University of Ulster at Jordanstown. After returning to the United States, he pursued a degree with the Ola Grimsby Institute, focusing on orthopaedic manual therapy. Dean’s special interests include the treatment of spinal dysfunctions, orthopaedic ailments and general conditioning.

Matt Cabbage – PT, DPT, ATC
Matt Cabbage graduated from Lipscomb University with a B.S. in Athletic Training and completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. While attending PT school, Matt participated in an internship with the Tennessee Titans. He has a passion for teaching and currently an adjunct professor at Pellissippi State Technical Community College for Anatomy and Physiology. Matt’s special interests include sports injuries, chronic tissue injuries, biomechanics, and most general orthopaedic dysfunctions.

Kathy Kearse – PT, CLT-LANA
Kathy graduated from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Physical Therapy in July, 1985. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including neurology and orthopaedic rehabilitation. In 2000, Kathy received a specialty certification in lymphedema therapy and was among the first therapists to receive a national certification by the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA). She has practiced most exclusively with lymphedema and cancer patients for the past 15 plus years. Kathy is actively involved in community education in the Knoxville area and has professionally spoken regionally and internationally. She is the author of several journal publications and co-author of the Lymphedema Caregiver’s Guide: arranging and providing home care, published in 2009 by LymphNotes.com.

Stephanie Moyers — Physical Therapy Tech
With a desire to help people, Physical Therapy Tech Stephanie Moyers loves working with patients. Whether it’s assisting with exercises or preparing modalities, Stephanie is entrusted to assist each patient with the utmost care. Her ability to empathize and listen to the needs of each patient adds a genuine touch to the patient experience. In addition to assisting patients and therapists, Stephanie is responsible for maintaining clinic flow and maintaining cleaning protocols and clinic appearance. She holds a BA in Communication/Advertising from Western Kentucky University and is a certified yoga instructor through AAAI. Prior to coming to Provision PT she spent a career in advertising, marketing and public relations, as well as, 13 years as a fitness instructor.
Tiffany Hanson — Office Coordinator
Tiffany serves as the Office Coordinator for the clinic. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Resource Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Prior to joining the Provision team, she spent several years in retail management and customer service roles. She and her husband relocated to East TN from South Dakota where they grew up. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She loves to be outdoors enjoying the sunshine.
